One Minute With…….Gail Bonnstetter

CLE welcomes Gail to our team and would love for you to get to know her just a little bit better.

How long have you worked at CLE?

  • Since April 2024

What is something you learned in the last week?

  • All the different pieces to the services we provide to our clients.  It’s quite amazing and every event is different.

Who Inspires You?

  • My mother is my biggest inspiration. She is strong, genuine, honest, and tough! She is also the hardest-working woman I have ever met.

What’s your hometown?

  • I grew up on a hog farm in West Bend, Iowa. (Home of the Grotto of Redemption)

What is your favorite family tradition?

  • When I was growing up, my mom would make fried chicken on Sundays.  To this day, when I visit, I ask her to make that for me. It’s the best in the world, ha!!

What has been your favorite project at CLE?

  • I love being a part of all of the projects!  I seem to have a little part in everything, which I really enjoy.  Where I can help, I hope to be an asset!

What’s your drink of choice?

  • Alcoholic or Non-alcoholic? HA!  I’m a water snob, I struggle with drinking water, but I like San Pellegrino sparkling water.  If we’re going for the good stuff, fresh grapefruit juice and Tito’s make me really happy!

What’s your go-to karaoke song?

  • Oh gosh, I prefer to observe vs. participate!

What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?

  • I have fitness in my blood.  I love Zumba and dance classes for cardio.  I enjoy riding bicycles, but I need to buy a new bike!  Weightlifting is another thing that is in my genes.  If I did not exercise, I would be crazier than I am, HA!

What is your role at CLE?

  • I am the Office Coordinator, which entails not only front desk responsibilities but also wearing whatever hat is needed with all my peers who need assistance.  I enjoy helping my peers!

What is one thing you cannot resist?

  • White chocolate! (Cooper’s Hawk white chocolate truffles are to die for!)

What is your greatest fear?

  • Spiders, bugs, any creepy crawler.  I’ll take a mouse or a snake over an insect any day!

Where is your favorite place to be?

  • With the people I love!  My kids, grandkids, family and friends.  The venue doesn’t matter when I’m with my people!

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?

  • I have been to a few cool places, but London and Paris stand out the most.  Seeing the Parliament and museums is a treasured memory.  I was lucky enough to see Notre Dame in Paris before it burned down, so that’s pretty special.

What was your first music concert?

  • My parents took me to see Ronnie Milsap at the fair when I was a little girl.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t working for CLE?

  • I would love to be a professional fashion/trend thrift store shopper.

What are the three works you would use to describe CLE?

  • Fun, United, Respect

What is your super skill?

  • I get things done. If there’s something that is expected of me, I get it done, no matter what.

What are one or two items on your bucket list?

  • Traveling to Italy and going to Disney with my grandchildren.

In your opinion, what makes an incredible production?

  • When the visuals blow you away.  Whether it be the technology, stage presence, or talent.

What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

  • I picked up sticks in a friend’s yard to make extra money.

What’s your walk-up song?

  • I’m not quite sure what a “walk-up song” is, but one that always gets me on the dance floor is “Brick House!”
